Docent guided tours for the public at the Museum of Nature & Science (MONAS) are offered free during regular Museum hours. Tours take a minimum of 30 minutes per museum. Large parties will be broken into smaller groups of 20-25 for a better learning experience. We ask that schools/groups provide proper adult supervision, which is one adult for every ten middle/high school student and one adult for every eight pre-school/elementary school student. Teachers and chaperones are required to stay with their assigned groups throughout the tour.
Typically tour groups rotate between one or more museums during a given tour date and time frame. Some field trips start at the Museum of Nature & Science (MONAS), if no start location is listed the tour starts in the museum courtyard.
