Who We Are
Youth Services is a section of the City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department that aims to offer safe and fun programming for youth ages 5-18.
What We Do
Our programs provide safe and fun programs for "Out-of-School-Time". We have three OST programs. Our Afterschool Programs are offered at 7 elementary school sites around the City and serve kids K-5. Our Weed and Seed Program is an on-site program targeting the Mesquite District, again working with kids grades K-5, mainly coming from Booker T. Washington Elementary. Our Teen Connection transports middle and high school teens to the Frank O-Brien Papen Center for afterschool programming.
