Who We Are
The City of Las Cruces Senior Nutrition Program is composed of congregate and home-delivered meals organized by Senior Programs. Funding for this program originates from the Older Americans Act Title IIIC and the federal Nutrition Services Incentive Program (NSIP). The Senior Nutrition program is further padded through the Area Agency on Aging to the City of Las Cruces. Seniors aged 60 and older are eligible to receive a daily meal that is designed to meet one-third of their daily nutrition requirements. Along with meals, the program to offer meals along with social and educational activities. Senior Nutrition provides an opportunity for companionship, human contact, and relief from isolation for older adults.
What We Do
Senior Program Nutrition Services provides our guests with nutritious, appetizing, and tasty meals at five (5) community dining sites and delivers that same meal to them through our Meals-on-Wheels program. In addition, we offer a pet assistance program and supplemental meals through our partner agencies.
