Help serve nutritious mid-day meals to seniors through the Congregate Meals Program.

Set up tables and chairsClean and sanitize tables and chairs before serviceServe meal trays to seniors with disabilities and/or limited mobilityCollect dirty trays of Seniors and return them to the dish room window for those with limited mobility, disabled, and as demand dictates. Clean and sanitize tables and chairs throughout the serving period Flip chairs after the serving period when applicable.Provides kitchen support as needed and directedSpot sweep and spot mop the dining room floor after meal service or as neededWrap silverware in napkinsClean and refill salt/pepper shakers

Kitchen Aide:

Pet Food Packer: 

Repackage pet food for homebound seniors' pets who participate in the Food 4 Paws Program.

Gather pet food and supplies from the shipping container outside of the building Place pet food in bins Using scoops and bags, repackage dog food and cat food into gallon bags and quart bags Place packaged food back in shipping container Clean and organize shipping containers Clean and sanitize work tables and utility carts Sweep dining floor of pet food kibble and crumbs

Pack breakfast ready-to-eat breakfast meals for homebound seniors in the Meals-on-Wheels Program.

Assist in obtaining correct counts on each route for homebound seniors who are eligible to receive breakfast Repackage and pack breakfast menu items Receive, date and put away items ordered Maintain the breakfast packing area in a clean and orderly fashion Breakdown and dispose of all empty cardboard containers into the recycling Pack bread for the next day, once finished with the breakfasts Clean and sanitize work areas, dust, sweep and mop floor in breakfast packing room
